How it works

  1. Create a strain. Draw an 8×8 cell, pick a kingdom and spend 20 points on genes.

  2. Land a colony. SOL buys biomass — the size of your starting colony, not stronger genes. You can land right on top of an enemy kingdom; your allies are never touched.
  3. Everyone plays in the same dish. It runs on the server around the clock — close the tab and your colony keeps fighting.
  4. Then it lives on its own. Cells eat, divide and attack their neighbours. Acid beats Membrane, Membrane beats Swarm, Swarm beats Acid (+50% in combat). Allies never eat each other.
  5. Take Pete. Our mascot sits in the middle of the dish. There’s more food there, and every one of his cells is worth 3× points.
  6. Beware the phage. When one kingdom grabs too much, a virus strikes it. Infected cells flicker white and crimson and die, and that kingdom can’t return to the scorched ground for a while. Defense slows the infection.
  7. One epoch is 1 hour. At the end a snapshot of the dish goes out on X, the winning kingdom and the MVP enter the hall of fame, and the dish is sterilized for a new battle.
  8. What a landing costs. 0.01 SOL per unit of biomass (1–5). The price climbs to ×3 toward the end of the epoch, so sniping Pete at the last minute is expensive. You can land the same strain again with Land again — each extra landing in an epoch costs ×1.5, up to 5 per wallet. The dish closes to landings in the last 5 minutes. Genes are locked once your strain is in.
  9. Where the SOL goes. Landing fees buy back and burn $PETE. Every transaction is visible on-chain.
